South Korea summer party....

we had 4 guy's from south Korea jumping into the 3 dog night hostel, first one ever. But just like every other traveler  those guy's turned out being fun big times. we had  a first nice Korean meal together and it was got  we set up a kennel sled dog tour a canoe tour and O prepped a nice bone fire for them an night. well you know Alaska still has daylight at midnight but it is still a nice party having a bone fire and couple beers with a bunch of good new friend. anway it turned out raining 2 days straight and we send those guy's to the Cheana hot springs   but the just run into Fairbanks  visiting the university and into north pole to visit the Santa Claus house. the las night we all prepped a midnight meal together  throw the barbecue on and it was fun big times. we got good laughs fun couple beers and a really good time at the 3 dog night hostel  ....the last morning we took the dogs out for a walk  and the guy's left as good friends and  next turn is me visiting south and of course north Korea,,,,,,,,don't worry guy's we get yah.....:)

I caught a little rat stealing some trash....:)

 well my dog food shed was back in his old days a chicken shed and so he got little hole the chicken could get in and out. since we don't have any chicken i used it as a cooking shed for dog food and put even som dog food bags  into the shed. well we got some squirrels I was wonder if they would go into the the food bags.....but they didn't yet...I saw one squirrel always showing up but I guess he took just the staff playing around.....but  since couple days some one goes into the backs and I thought...damned I got rats  or the squirrel made his way in or what ever... so I put a little plank in front of the hole without to strew it on...I mean i thought the little rat would be that strong....but day after day the hole grow bigger and bigger...:)....well I put the gas bottle behind  the plank  I know still kinda lazy but it was kinda fun...and one day i heard  a bang.....

and saw the little rat coming flying out of the hole....I was laughing pretty hard when i saw Rambo even if I should be sad at him and punish him for being the little rat. But since little Rambo is supposed to be my super hero leader on the yukon quest 2014 dream.....thats why I thought  what  damned smart  sneaky puppy he actually is....so he is smart, tough, crazy and got a heart as big as Alaska.....well I guess I got to put a board on the whole....sneaky little pup......

other then that i actually think about to change is name since a little girl called him Rainbow instead Rambo I think that sound smarter and makes him just I don't know.....I think it fits better to him so maybe he smarts a little u as well....sorry Sly......

puppys grow fast...

and start do go crazy....but it is so funny to see them growing every day a little bit. and how mom takes care cleans up and teaches them  the lessons they do need for life....amazing....but also I thought  the needed a dad right...well I'm more like a big buddy to play with and  run crazy but they do need a dad......so slowly I took my main leader and showed him first mom.....she kinda liked curley so I let him into the cage.....and he really seems very interested on the puppy's and he is very gentle... and the sweet thing is the puppy's start playing with curley and mom takes a nap while the puppies  run all over Curley.....so I'm pretty proud of Curley and i wonder about mother nature... sweet little miracles every day.......and funny is also if mom is only in the cage pupps sleeping usually but as soon as I come in or Curley....pupps go crazy and staart playing around....that's why I thought they do need a male dog  they do need dad to drive crazy because mom is tired from doing a great job...24h..

so while mom takes a nap......the pupps are all over me...lol...because we are a family.....and we stick together and help each other out thats the deal i made with my dogs....trust and happiness.....

but one more funny thing to tell as soon as I put my 3 dog night hostel dogs on the summer sled dog kart and do our fun run ......Shingle  goes crazy and want to be on that sled to....and I bet she is a creat leader for Maeckey......damned I would love to try her out to see what he got.......but mom is off duty......:)...trust and happiness.......right

the puppies jumped into the big big world

well 2 weeks are the puppies old now and slowly they going crazy.. they are all healthy and mom Shingle is a very good and beautiful one. I put a little cushion under the dog house so just in case they jump they will land soft.....other than that it would be a rough start, wouldn't it be...:)...the first one out was a girl of course girls are always first.......but mom put her back like mom always do and than the boy's went out. ans 3 of them stay out now everyone else has to go back in mom said.....interesting is to so that the pup who opened his eyes first seems to be  the strong superhero one and now always first. today I saw him trying to discover the big dog house is eyes are barley open but he takes interest into the big big world.....the snow white ladies are so damned cute they all look like little polar bears.

it is  a little wonder of mother nature to see them grow and how mother nature takes care it seems so easy.  I can't wait to see them all running around through the cage like crazy and I'm sure the will.. shingle the mom I took  her and showed her around to the other dogs and they are all doing fine. I think they now would be even aloud to come into the cage and look at the pups but I just wait better......the first one who got his eyes open had yesterday also his first poo outside the  dog house and it was a good one....:)....big boy  I thing he will be a super dog one day but yet he  can be a beautiful puppy enjoy his sweet little life as much as he want too......and I'm watching him and being a proud dad.......for couple month at least.....anyway life is good and fun the summer in Alaska is hot and bright......time  winter comes back what you think folks...lol

in the service of science

the first puppy got his eyes open, a wonderful deep dark blue I would say for now and the first pup was a male who opened his eyes. well since we work together with a top animal psychologists from Germany she was wondering if the first one also will be the alpha pup kinda. so lets find out if the first one are really always the toughest   once. so I paint that little guy a little heart on his belly to keep a eye in him. but the second one was a beautiful white girl that opened their eyes maybe she will be the next beautiful sweet kennel biatch just like noodle. would be funny to see how that works. anyway it is so interesting to watch those little guy's grow I could sit there forever and look at them but you really can see now there is  big party time in the kennel and they move alot jet and more and more open their eyes. and with the eyes the ears open as well and they start to smell also and it become a very important time for them the next 8 weeks. and science says what the learn within the next 8 week they never forget. I guess we need to make a puppy party so they get the whole beautiful world to know within the next 8 weeks.....should be fun I just feel a little bad with mom because she will have alot to do those next 8 weeks and will not always have an easy time with those little crazy pups. But I will help Shingle as much as I can so I fixed the cage today for the little worms because I found one hole they may could get through....anyway...can't wait to see them run all over the place at the 3 dog night hostel that will be fun big times....

well  we do have Lance Mackey's  1 week old puppies now for about 3 days and I still can't get  enough from them. I do sit for hours next to mom  snuggle her and watch her puppies grow. It is magic and so beautiful and often very funny too they do still haven't open their eyes yet but they do get more active every day.  crawl over each other sleep in a huge pile where you have no clue who is who and what leg or head belongs to who. A friend of mine told me  what those puppies learn within the first 8 weeks of their little life's they do never forget. Kinda interesting to think about that I do not have a clue about my first 8 weeks or even first 3 - 4 years...:)But also I can't wait till I can go for a walk with those little fury balls  or go crazy and play with them like nuts as long as mom  is fine with that. she is also a very beautiful dog and since i just looked at the puppies all the time I just recognized how big she actually is and how beautiful as well....good size beautiful color tough and strong but very friendly at least so far and to me. lance told me she likes to escape but so far she is fine.....so far....:). anyway today I took her on a leash and out of the kennel and showed her the other 3 dog night hostel dogs.....to say hi especially to noodle because those two girls are kinda bitchy to each other but just behind the fence.....I think Noodle  likes the puppies too and would love to care....but Shingle is very mom and protective what makes sense , right. Anyway it is pretty cool to watch that wonder of life and how she takes care about your little fur balls it is amazing.....


and yes at the end we are all just sled dogs running for happiness thats for sure.......life is good isn't it...

yesterday a friend came by with a 7 weeks old malamute puppy and the girl was sooo cute and every one felt right away in love with here. I released all my girls and they took a sniff and they loved the puppy too.  she does smell so good and as smart as she is she showed me all he spots at my new puppy cage that needed being fixed because she sneaked through the sweet little girl. puppies are something else life becomes so much more fun with puppies and the are fun all day long to watch....anyway life is good at the 3 dog nighty hostel and tomorrow we get some more puppies from Lance Mackey I can't wait to play with this little heros.....:)
